MARGAO: Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu has advised Konkan Railway to promote the sale of local produce of Konkan region through the catering stalls at various stations.
KRC Sr Manager, Public Relations Baban Ghatge said the Minister desired that Konkan products popularly called as ‘Konkani Meva’ which include cashew nuts, Kokam serbet, sweetmeats made of mango and jackfruit should be widely publicized and put up on sale at various stalls.
