Buffalo Falls Into Salaulim Canal, Safety Concerns Raised

A buffalo falling into the canal of the Salaulim Dam in South Goa has once again raised serious safety concerns among locals. The incident occurred at Borimoddi in Quepem, where the animal was seen struggling in the water before managing to stay afloat.

Residents have blamed the mishap on the absence of proper safety railings and protective barriers along the canal. They pointed out that such incidents are not isolated, with similar cases being reported in the past, putting both animals and humans at risk.
