VASCO: Verna police on Friday arrested a resident of Khobrawado-Calangute and five minors from Verna, Nagoa, Margao and Calangute and recovered 10 stolen motorcycles.
According to Verna police, several motorcycle owners had filed complaints at Verna, Colva, Saligao, Margao and Maina police stations stating that their motorcycles were stolen. A Verna police team led by PI Uday Parab arrested Anthony Cardozo and five minors from Verna, Nagao, Margao and Calangute and recovered 10 motorcycles, which were stolen by them.
Police further informed that the accused, Cardozo, was produced before JMJC Margao and remanded to three days police custody, while the five minor boys were sent to Apna Ghar Merces.
