Social activists have raised serious concerns, alleging that the boy may have been adopted without following due legal procedures, and have even hinted at a possible child trafficking angle.

In response, police authorities have given the mother one day to establish proof of biological relationship through genetic verification. If the child was adopted, she has been asked to produce valid adoption documents to confirm legal guardianship.

Investigations are underway to verify the child’s parentage and to determine whether the case involves a larger trafficking network.
