MARGAO: Fatorda Police registered a case of culpable homicide due to rash and negligent driving against one Sandip Honavar, a resident of Pajifond, Margao for causing the death of a 19-year-old Anjuman Iqbal Shaikh in an accident which occurred at Borda.
The accused riding a motorcycle had a head on collision with the scooter rider Anjuman. Both the riders sustained injuries.
However, Anjuman died on his way to the hospital.
Sandip, who has also sustained head injuries, is undergoing treatment at GMC.
