PANJIM: The Panjim police have registered a criminal complaint against the Sarpanch of Sancoale Ramakant Borkar for allegedly threatening to kill family of a city based woman lawyer in the capital.
An offence was registered taking cognizance of a complaint filed by the lawyer who alleged that Borkar trespassed into her office, abused and threatened to kill her, her husband and her minor daughter.
The incident happened at about 6:30pm on Wednesday. According to the police, Borkar allegedly threatened her in the office at gun point.
