PONDA: The authorities have finally ‘found’ the cause of leakage in the swimming pool at the Ponda Sports Complex.
The drainage pipe which is five feet below the floor of the swimming pool has some major leakages and therefore the tank becomes empty as soon as it is filled with water. This was disclosed by the sports authorities who inspected the swimming pool on Thursday.
The swimming pool has been closed since past two months due to a leakage that was draining out the water.
The authorities said that two more days are required to test and confirm the fault that they have detected. After confirming the fault it would take fifteen more days to complete the repair work. The service of an expert and a consultant would be hired to fix the leakage. The damaged tiles of the swimming pool floor will also be replaced.
