PANJIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Tuesday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for presenting a futuristic Union Budget 2022-2023 in spite of COVID-19 pandemic.
Sawant said the Union Budget presented in the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav year, is aimed at achieving the vision of India@100 set out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Union Budget presented is formulated keeping in mind to enhance the ‘Gati and Shakti’ of the economy for the bright future of the country giving true justice to every sector of the economy, he said.

“I am sure that this exercise is indeed a blueprint for the next 25 years ie `Amrit Kaal’ as said by the Finance Minister,” Sawant said.
