CISF Foils Alleged Cargo Fraud at Mormugao Port; Truck Booked for Attempted Theft

Personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) intercepted a truck at the Mormugao Port Authority after detecting discrepancies in its cargo documents, leading to the registration of a case for attempted theft.

During inspection, officials found that a fake weighment slip had allegedly been used to declare the consignment as steam coal. However, upon verification, the truck was reportedly found to be carrying iron pellets instead.
