A garden in the city happens to be a place where citizens come to relax breathe in some fresh air and senior citizens come to spend their leisure time. For this the citizens need to have proper sitting facilities. Unfortunately some of the benches at the Municipal Park at Vasco are in a pathetic state (see pic).
During the annual Saptah festival the park gets crowded with people who would want to sit on the benches and relax for some time.
The authorities concerned need to replace the broken benches in the park before the start of the seven-day Saptah festival in the Port Town which is fast approaching.
