A circular gap (in an exposed condition) exists over a concrete slab placed on a chamber near Almeida High School in Ponda. The situation turns dangerous for the lives of innocent pedestrians proceeding along this route.
Many young students enter the school premises along this area and there is every possibility of their leg being stuck up inside the existing exposed gap. Such an incident would indeed lead to adverse consequences.
As far as this serious matter is concerned, it is absolutely necessary that safety is assured to public at large, in particular, the innocent children.
Let us hope that the concerned authorities would initiate prompt positive action in providing a cover to this gap so that necessary relief is assured to one and all.
