This picture is taken along Kegdevelim road opposite Coutinho beach villas during high tide on June 26. This portion is being regularly pounded by waves over the years and has left just around a metre of not so terra firma between the road and a sheer drop. Whatever happened to the Government’s ambitious plan to reinforce the entire coastline?
I’m not so sure if the local Panchayat will be up to the task of preventing the road from being swallowed up.
