The BJP Government is looting citizens by issuing the electricity and water bills once in four or five months.
We find it very difficult to pay the bills with big amount for months together and the departments should stop issuing computerized bill once in four or five months. Previously the bills were issued monthly when officials provided hand-written bills and we had no any problem to pay bills.
I had written a letter to Power Minister Pandurang Madkaikar recently to stop this malpractice of issuing power bills for months together. He has referred the letter to the Chief Electrical Engineer to look into the matter. It is not understood who the real boss of the department is, the Minister or Chief Electrical Engineer?
The govt should amend this rule of issuing bills for many months and issue bills monthly to ease the tension of the consumers. The govt should stop contracts given to private party to issue bills. Will the Minister listen for the benefits of all the citizens in Goa?
