The Electricity Department’s power supply distribution junction box installed behind Raza Plaza Building Block “B” and opposite Mary’s Abode Apartments at Shirvodem, Margao has become a dumping ground for garbage.
Residents have to bear the terrible stench emanating from the dumping area and unable to keep their doors and windows open for fresh air. Not only that, stray dogs, rodents and cattle feed on the garbage and endanger the functioning of the junction box.
This filth can cause epidemic in the area. Will the concerned authorities take note of the mess and keep the “Swachh Bharat Campaign” alive.
