PANJIM: Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education’s Class XII examinations started on Monday. A total of 16,201 students have registered to appear for the exams that will continue till March 19. Strict security has been maintained within and outside the examination centres with education officials also ensuring no students resort to cheating. The candidates have been barred from carrying any electronic gadgets except for simple non programmable calculator.
