Vasco MLA and KTC Chairman Carlos Almeida, Airport Director K Srinivasa Rao, KTC Director Deepak Naik and Vasco Planning and Development Chairman Krishna Salkar were present.
Sawaikar thanked KTC Chairman Carlos Almeida for making available the KTC bus. Almeida said the bus service will help all the passengers, who cannot afford taxi fares. Srinivasa Rao said the bus service was not started with an intention to cut down the business of taxi operators at Dabolim airport. “I have seen many tourists walking up to the bus stand with their luggage and board buses proceeding to Panjim,” said Rao.
