Call of Duty: Mobile is preparing to launch one of its biggest seasonal updates with Season 6, featuring a major crossover with the acclaimed JRPG Persona 5 Royal. The new season goes live on July 1, 2026, at 5 PM PT, bringing fresh gameplay, themed content and a range of new rewards.The highlight of the update is the Plunder Treasure Hunt mode. During Battle Royale matches on the Isolated map, players can enter glowing red domains inspired by Persona 5 Royal. Inside these zones, the interface changes to match the game’s signature style. To unlock the treasure chest, squads must defeat three waves of Shadow-inspired NPCs while battling rival operators competing for the same rewards.Multiplayer also receives a fresh addition through Throwable Frenzy, a fast-paced 5v5 mode where traditional weapons and Scorestreaks are disabled. Instead, players rely solely on Combat Axes to eliminate opponents, while movement bonuses add an extra layer of strategy.Season 6’s Battle Pass introduces the FSS Hurricane SMG and the powerful VTOL Jet Scorestreak. Players can also participate in Persona 5 Royal-themed shooting gallery events inspired by the Palaces from the RPG.Competitive players can unlock exclusive Ranked rewards, including the Enigma – Zavesa Operator Skin for Battle Royale and the SO-14 – Onyx Wrath Weapon Blueprint for Multiplayer. A special Summer Event also offers seasonal rewards such as the Urban Tracker – Summer Sunrise Operator Skin and the M16 – Sparkling Citrus blueprint.
