Colomb resident found dead

A 26-year-old resident of Colomb was found dead on the railway tracks at Kindlem-Canacona on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Shekar Warik, who had returned from Gulf a month ago.
Sources informed Herald that the deceased body was found in badly mutilated and unidentifiable manner after Mangalore-Margao train passed through on Saturday at about 1 pm.
Sources further informed that the deceased family reportedly recognized the body based on the T-shirt.
However it was not known whether it was a case of accident or suicide, but sources informed that Warik had left his house at Colomb earlier in the day at about 10 am to go to Mangan (a nearby place to Kindlem) and insisted to go walking when offered to be dropped on a motorcycle.
