The order on Thursday comes after a series of hearings on Alemao’s plea seeking release of the documents that allegedly shows he was an investor under a different identity.
CB had attached the property papers and RC books of different vehicles he owns in his and in the names of family members. Alemao was arrested on August 5 last year after being interrogated four times, on charges of receiving kickbacks from LB officials.
Sources said the seized property including the one at Verna purchased in the name of Sealink company having his son Savio as its director, was around the time the JICA bribe was paid.
The company was involved in mining activities.
During a raid at his tax consultant Dayesh Naik’s office, CB sleuths had laid lands on papers showing various companies and properties worth over Rs 100 crore registered in the names of Alemao’s wife Fatima, son Savio and himself. A Candolim-based onshore Raffles Square Development Pvt Ltd is supposedly registered in the name of one of his daughters. Among other assets, a luxury car Mitsubishi Pajero was a gift to the consultant but has Savio as its original owner.
