CURCHOREM: A 40-year-old man from Bagwada-Curchorem on Thursday tested COVID positive and was shifted to the COVID Care Centre.
According to Curchorem Up-graded Primary Health Centre’s Medical Officer Dr Mohanrao Dessai, the patient is working at a bridge construction site at Cortalim and his employer directed him along with his colleague to get tested at GMC, Bambolim. “After collecting his swab, the doctors at GMC asked him to undergo self-quarantine at his residence at Curchorem and today he is shifted to COVID centre after getting his report positive,” said Dr Dessai.

He said the swab samples of two of his family members were collected on Thursday and the rest are called tomorrow (Friday).
