In a heartwarming display of community spirit, the youth of Curchorem have come together to construct a new house for a financially struggling family in Pontemol.
The family of Prakash Naik had been living in a small mud house for several years. The dwelling consisted of just a single room, forcing the entire family to cope with challenging living conditions.
Moved by their plight, local youth took the initiative to provide the family with a safer and more comfortable home. Through collective effort and community participation, construction of the new house has now begun.
Support for the initiative has also come from local MLA Nilesh Cabral, who backed the noble cause. The foundation stone for the house was laid in the presence of youth members and villagers, marking the start of the project.
Work on the house is progressing with enthusiasm, and it is expected to be completed within the next two months, bringing hope and improved living conditions to the Naik family.
