CWC gets award

PANJIM: The North Goa Child Welfare Committee (CWC) has been adjudged the third best CWC in South India by Sathi Bangalore.

PANJIM: The North Goa Child Welfare Committee (CWC) has been adjudged the third best CWC in South India by Sathi Bangalore. 
The announcement was made on the concluding day of a two-day programme organized by Sathi in Hubli on July 31. The awards were announced after reviewing the work done by 15 CWCs in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and North and South Goa. 
While CWC Warangal won the first place, CWC Dharwad second and CWC North headed by Audrey Pinto bagged the third place. During the programme the CWC chairpersons and members discussed and shared their best practices, experiences and challenges while handling cases related to juveniles.
