Devotees Gather at Farmagudi Amid ‘Save Katamgal’ Call Over Proposed IIT Site

Hundreds of devotees gathered at the Katamgal Dada shrine in Farmagudi following a call by activist Gurudas Naik to oppose the proposed IIT project near the revered deity’s shrine.

Devotees are expected to decide whether they will permit the institute to come up in the area, amid concerns that survey markers have allegedly been placed within land believed to belong to the deity.
