The officer has performed exceptionally well in various assignments during his career as SDPO Aizawl, SP Serchhip district, Mizoram, AIG (Operations) Mizoram, Additional DCP and DCP in three major districts of Delhi and DCP Special Branch of Delhi Police, SSP Crime and Intelligence, Goa and now as DIG in Goa Police.
During his posting in Mizoram as AIG (Operations), his responsibilities included liaison with Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force and Assam Rifles to ensure well coordinated anti-insurgency operations along the international borders of
During the period 2002 to 2007, his postings in Delhi Police included Additional DCP (North-West and West Districts) and DCP (South-West). He successfully handled a number of law & order arrangement, major strikes, agitations, demonstrations, demolitions, festivals, rally’s etc as well as security arrangements of Protected Persons, VIPs and vital installations.
During his posting in Goa Police since March 2008, the officer has continued to work with great sincerity and industry.

Speaking to Herald form Delhi, the officer said is he contented to be honored.
