SANGUEM: The office of the Chief Electoral Officer participated in Sanguem shigmo parade on Wednesday, to spread voter awareness. There was a tremendous response as the young voters volunteered to take selfies with the frames.
The election icons Agostinho Fernandes, Pradip Naik, Sonia Rodrigues Sabarwal, Bindiya Vast Naik and John Aguiar, nodal officer Deepali Naik, AERO Krishna Desai, Ana Rita and team of BLOs participated in the float parade.
The objective of conducting the programme was to disseminate information about election procedure and processes and motivate the voters to come out and vote.
