FRRO SP Vijay Singh said the facility will cover foreign nationals, including students, who enrol themselves in various schools and colleges across the State. “We won’t accept any (physical) applications for any visa-related service from October 15 onwards… The system will help store data online, which can be accessed by FRROs, Indian Missions (IMs) and immigration check posts (ICPs) across the country,” Singh told Herald.
Electronic visas from Oct 15
PANJIM: As part of national e-governance plan, the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) in Goa will begin e-visa service from October 15. Thereafter all manual visa-related services will be discontinued.
