A 64-year-old Finnish national, identified as Merja Marita Salminen, was found dead inside her locked room at a guest house in Calangute, police said on Wednesday.
According to sources, the staff grew suspicious after the woman did not respond to repeated knocks on her door. Upon entering the room with assistance from local authorities, she was found unresponsive.
