In a targeted enforcement drive, the Foreigners Regional Registration Office Goa Special Task Force has traced nine foreign nationals overstaying in the state.
Officials identified seven Russia nationals, including two minors, and two Ukraine nationals among those found in violation of visa norms.
According to authorities, two of the individuals have already exited the country, while necessary legal and administrative procedures are currently underway for the remaining persons.
In light of the findings, the FRRO has also issued directions to accommodation providers across Goa, mandating strict adherence to Form C regulations, which require timely reporting of foreign guests to authorities.
The action is part of ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with immigration rules and maintain proper monitoring of foreign nationals residing in the state.
