Goods worth an estimated Rs 4 lakh were gutted in a fire at a furniture showroom at Arpora on Tuesday. According to sources, the workers at the showroom noticed the fire and began removing few items like sofa sets, chairs and tables, but the presence of foam in the showroom compounded matters for the workers.
