VASCO: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Tuesday stated that the new airport terminus at Dabolim will be ready for use by August.
Parrikar was speaking during his visit to Vaddem Beach to listen to the grievances of local fishermen. Dabolim MLA Mauvin Godinho accompanied the chief minister during his visit.

Speaking further, Parrikar explained that though the deadline was May, the new airport terminus at Dabolim would be ready by August.
Commenting on land acquisition for parking at Dabolim airport, Parrikar said he has discussed the issue with airport officials and has sought a detailed report on the land required for parking purpose and it will be made available to them.
“Once I get the report within four weeks, I will start the process to acquire the land and hand it over to the airports authority. A flyover will solve decongestion of the traffic island at the airport junction,” added Parrikar.
