A series of infrastructure initiatives aimed at strengthening public amenities was inaugurated across the Siolim constituency, with new high-mast and four-arm lighting poles installed at several key locations.

High-mast poles have been installed near Shree Dattatreya Mandir in Guddem, the Y Junction near Augusta Chapel, Porta Waddo, and Sao Joao Chapel in Fernandes Waddo.
A four-arm pole has also been installed near Mizu Goa at Bhaman Waddo. The new lighting facilities are expected to improve visibility for motorists and pedestrians, particularly during the night and in areas with heavy local movement.
The projects are part of broader efforts to improve essential infrastructure across Siolim. Similar lighting works in the constituency have included high-mast installations at locations such as the Siolim ferry jetty and Theatre Junction, along with multi-arm poles at Rastroli Ajoba Devasthan and Gudeli.
The latest initiatives are expected to make roads and public spaces safer, brighter and more accessible while addressing long-standing infrastructure needs in local communities.
