PANJIM: The Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) has granted permission under Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) notification to TIMEOUT72 HOURS for organizing the Electronic Dance Music Festival (EDM) at Vagator.
GCZMA had conducted the inspection of the site, following which the CRZ clearance was granted to the organisers.
The event is scheduled from December 27-29.
Sources at GCZMA said that the CRZ permission has been granted to the event organisers on certain conditions, violation of which will force the authority to revoke the same.
The State Level Permission Committee (SLPC) has recommended grant of permission to Aayush Mehta to organise music festival (EDM) under the banner TIMEOUT72 HOURS. However, the State tourism department is yet to give final permission to the event.
The permission by Tourism department will be issued on compliance of all conditions issued in the provisional NoC like obtaining CRZ clearance.
The organisers of TIMEOUT72 have already announced its line up of the performers which includes US-based rapper Wiz Khalifa and singer Jason Darulo.
