Goa activist Slams Margao Municipality for Ignoring Safety Hazards

Madganvcho Awaaz and youth leader Prabhav Naik have strongly criticized the Margao Municipal Council, governed by defector MLA Digambar Kamat, for its persistent negligence in addressing public safety concerns.

Naik highlighted the failure of civic authorities to clear dangerously hanging tree branches across Margao, which pose serious risks to the movement of people with disabilities, elderly citizens, women, and children. He emphasized that the municipality’s inaction is a looming disaster, especially during the monsoon season.
