The Congress party has hit out at the Calangute MLA saying he is presiding for the last 15 years over the sex and drugs business which is going on in Calangute. He said Goa has become a sex and drug hub. The coastline which is rooted in sex and drugs has elected BJP MLAs, Congress Spokesman Vijay Bhike said.
Congress spokesman Vijay Bhike also questioned the sincerity of the Calangute panchayat in cracking down on illegal dance bars and whether they would make a settlement with them once they get their share. He also said now the drug parties are infiltrating the villages.
