Goa government announces Diwali bonus for eligible employees by October 20

The Goa government has announced that eligible employees, including Group C and non-gazetted Group B staff, will receive their Diwali bonus on or before October 20, 2025. Employees drawing a Grade Pay of Rs 4,600 and above (Level 7 of the Seventh Pay Commission) are excluded. The scheme also covers staff of autonomous bodies funded by the state, provided they follow the government pay structure and do not have other bonus schemes in place. Casual labourers with at least 240 days of work over the past three years will be paid proportionately. Employees on half-pay leave, study leave, or re-employed after superannuation are also eligible. The bonus will be credited via e-payment from the sanctioned departmental budgets.
