Goa Green Brigade Submits Plea to PWD Minister to Save 100-Year-Old Banyan Tree on Airport Road

The Goa Green Brigade met PWD Minister Digambar Kamat today to submit a plea aimed at saving the 100-plus-year-old heritage banyan tree located on Airport Road, Dabolim.

The environmental group also urged the minister to initiate a comprehensive policy for the preservation of Goa’s roadside trees and to ensure that tree protection becomes a mandatory component in PWD contracts.
