Goa Named ‘Top Achiever’ in Services Sector Under BRAP 2024 by DPIIT

Goa has been recognised as a ‘Top Achiever’ in the Services Sector under the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) 2024, an initiative of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India.

Expressing pride in the achievement, Industries Minister Mauvin Godinho said the recognition underscores Goa’s commitment to building a robust, investment-friendly business ecosystem in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s reform-driven vision.

“This recognition reaffirms Goa’s focus on ease of doing business and our sustained efforts to attract quality investments in the services sector,” the minister stated.

The BRAP framework evaluates states and Union Territories on their implementation of business reforms aimed at improving regulatory efficiency and facilitating investor confidence. Goa’s performance highlights its growing role as a competitive and reform-oriented economy within India’s services sector landscape.
