Police in Panaji have arrested a 48-year-old man from Bicholim in connection with a rape case registered earlier this week. According to the FIR, the accused allegedly sexually assaulted a 27-year-old woman multiple times between 2021 and 2025. The incidents reportedly took place at different locations, including hotels in Mapusa, Miramar, and Margao. Police said the accused lured the victim with promises of providing job opportunities. He has since been taken into custody, and officials confirmed that further investigation is ongoing to gather more evidence and verify additional details related to the case.
