Goa Residents to File Complaint Against Gautam Khattar Over Remarks on St. Francis Xavier

Residents of Taleigao, led by Francis Coelho, are set to gather at the Panjim Police Station today, Tuesday at 11:00 AM to lodge a formal complaint against Gautam Khattar for allegedly making derogatory remarks about Saint Francis Xavier during a recent public event in Vasco da Gama.

Saint Francis Xavier, fondly revered as “Goencho Saib,” holds immense spiritual and cultural importance for the people of Goa. Locals have expressed strong concern that any attempt to insult or undermine this legacy could disturb the state’s communal harmony.
