PANJIM: AAP leader Mahadev Naik said Goans are feeling unsafe as the law and order situation in the State is worsening and alleged that even BJP government’s welfare schemes are not working as several beneficiaries are receiving money only after five months.

He was addressing a meeting attended by a large number of residents at Dattagadh, Bethora as part of a campaign to ensure Goenkars are aware of Arvind Kejriwal’s first guarantee of 24/7 free electricity.
“Goenkars are concerned as they feel unsafe in Goa. Daily the law and order situation in Goa is worsening. Even welfare schemes which BJP makes big statements about are not working. Many beneficiaries are getting money from these schemes only after 5 months! How is a common Goenkar supposed to live in these tough times,” he asked.
In the press release, the AAP stated that the Dattagadh residents have lent their support to the party and the Kejriwal model. Residents shared how the BJP govt has ditched them.

Pilgao former sarpanch joins AAP
PANJIM: Pilgao former sarpanch and Youth Congress Mayem Block vice president Mahesh Volvoikar on Monday joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the presence of AAP leader Valmiki Naik at Panjim.
In a press release, the AAP said Volvoikar’s entry has strengthened the party’s hold over BJP constituencies.
Volvoikar said he joined AAP after being impressed by the Kejriwal model and the party’s selfless work during the pandemic. Claiming that the BJP government doesn’t care about the common man, Volvoikar said, “Development works are still incomplete, schemes exist just on paper and youth are still waiting for jobs.
“I’ve joined because the Kejriwal model is the only model in the country that is helping the common man. Today the BJP government doesn’t care about the poor or common man. The saffron party’s “Har Ghar Jal Yojna” has failed as there is no water in people’s houses,” he claimed.
“Prices have skyrocketed which have made life impossible for Goenkars. In these tough times only AAP has provided ration and helped Goans,” Volvoikar added.
“Today our youth are unemployed, with mining shut all mining dependents are in a terrible condition. After failing to resume mining for years, BJP now wants us to believe that they will restart it within three months,” he said.
“People from every village of Goa are joining AAP as they see it as future for Goa,” said AAP leader Valmiki Naik.
