MARGAO: Colva police on Sunday upon complaint filed by Dewani Pimenta, resident of Per-Seraulim have registered an offence for theft of cash and gold ornaments amounting to over Rs 3.52 lakh against unknown accused person.
In his complaint Pimenta has stated that on April 27 between 1 am and 7.30 am unknown person entered his residence from the open balcony when inmates were fast sleeping and committed theft of cash Rs 1.97 lakh gold ornaments, two bangles and one necklace with semi precious stones totally worth over Rs 3.52 lakh. Further investigation is in progress.
