Gold ornaments worth over Rs 1 lakh were stolen from a residence in Pandgal-Shiroda on Thursday.
In her complaint, one Reshma Pednekar told Ponda Police that the incident occurred when she had gone to reach her child to the school at about 8 am.
When she returned at about 12 noon, she found the front door open and cupboard broke open and gold ornaments worth over Rs l lakh missing.
A dog squad was pressed into service, but could not provide any clue. ASI Gokuldas Mallik is investigating the case.
