PONDA: A Goa govt employee Shridhar Kerkar alias Satakar from Keri-Ponda died by suicide. His body was found on Saturday. He was being questioned in a cash job scam involving Pooja Naik. The two-wheeler was found at the scene was registered in the name of Pooja Naik. He was reportedly grilled by the police twice in the ongoing investigation. Pooja Naik has been arrested for taking money from people by promising them government jobs and being unable to give the jobs. Cases have been filed against her at Mardol, Bicholim and Porvorim Police stations.

The body of the deceased was in a highly decomposed stage.
The Mardol police conducted the panchanama and the body was shifted to South Goa District Hospital, Margao, for post-mortem
