‘HAVE SOME SHAME!’ YUVRAJ SINGH TAKES FUNNY DIG AT GILL, ABHISHEK AFTER PANT’S GIFT

Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh shared a hilarious moment on social media after receiving a thoughtful gift from Rishabh Pant, while also playfully roasting his other young mentees, including Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma.

Pant recently gifted Yuvraj a golf club as a token of appreciation for the guidance and support he received ahead of the ongoing IPL season. The wicketkeeper-batter had reportedly spent time training with Yuvraj before the tournament, with a strong focus on improving his mindset and rebuilding confidence after a difficult previous campaign and missing out on India’s T20 World Cup squad.

Yuvraj, who has become a mentor figure for several young Indian cricketers, posted a video thanking Pant for the gesture. The golf bag carried a heartfelt message from Pant which read: “Dear Yuvi paaji, thank you for your support and guidance. See you on the golf course. Love RP.”

While appreciating Pant’s thoughtful present, Yuvraj could not resist taking a cheeky swipe at his other trainees. In a humorous remark, he called out Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Prabhsimran Singh, Naman Dhir, Abdul Samad and Priyansh Arya, telling them to “have some shame” for not giving him gifts despite receiving mentorship from him.

The light-hearted exchange quickly grabbed attention online, with fans enjoying the bond between Yuvraj and the younger generation of Indian cricketers.

Meanwhile, Pant is still searching for consistency in IPL 2026. In nine innings so far, the left-hander has scored 204 runs at an average of 25.50 with a strike rate of 128.30. Despite showing glimpses of form, he has struggled to convert starts into big scores, managing only one half-century this season. His side currently sits at the bottom of the points table with just two wins from nine matches, leaving their playoff hopes hanging by a thread.
