The petitioner, professor Antonio Alvares informed the court that the situation hasn’t improved at all and warned that unless the Margao Municipal Council uncovers all gutters, it will not be known who is releasing sewage underground into the gutters. The Amicus Curae who inspected Margao storm water drains last week informed the court that she would be submitting her report next Tuesday.

She also complained about unabated pollution coming from the SGPDA fish market in Margao.
