SANGUEM: In a bid to provide justice at the door step of the people, the government today opened the Court of Collector for Netravali Wild Life Sanctuary in the premises of Government High School Netravali.
The court was opened for the benefit of villagers residing in the hilly areas of Verlem, Tudov, Salgini and Netravali village to get quick disposal of their pending claims with respect to ownership rights of properties which comes under Netravali Wild Life Sanctuary.

As the boundaries of the Netravali Wild Life Sanctuary are yet to be demarcated, the villagers are given an opportunity to get their lands out from the precincts of Netravali Life Sanctuary.
The newly opened court will function twice a week and the villagers will be informed well in advance as to which cases are fixed for hearing for the day, informed Gaude while speaking at the inaugural function.
The newly opened Court was inaugurated at the hands of the hands of the Law Minister Nilesh Cabral in the presence of Sanguem MLA Prasad Gaonkar, Sarpanch Archana Gaonkar and others.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Cabral urged the people to take utmost benefit of the Court which is opened in the village for the sole benefit of the villagers residing in the hinterland areas who otherwise have to travel around 30 kilometres to reach the Office of Deputy Collector Sanguem where the proceedings would have normally held.
