Indian Tigers Organisation moves court against Mamata Banerjee

PANJIM: The Indian Tigers Organisation, Fatorda has filed a plea before the High Court of Bombay at Goa against Trinamool Congress supremo and Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee for allegedly insulting the National Anthem.

Organisation chief Rahul Shanbag alleged that Banerjee, on December 1, while addressing a press conference in Mimbai, when she began singing the National Anthem being seated, which has violated the general protocol of singing the National Anthem under section 3 of the Prevention of Insult to the National Honour Act1971, and Fundamental Duty under section 51 A of the Constitution of India.
