Integrity and passion vital for business: Rajdeep

Journo delivers first LINT lecture; says its important to maintain one’s moral compass

PANJIM: It is important to maintain one’s integrity even as one grows and that is the challenge of the times. It is also important to reinvent oneself and adapt to evolving times. This was articulated by Rajdeep Sardesai at the first LINT lecture in the city Saturday evening. It is important, he said, to maintain one’s moral compass.
Sardesai said it was important as a journalist to keep asking questions and he had accepted the fact that he would never get interviews with certain politicians, namely Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This he said was OK considering that the two of them had a good relationship as good as a journalist and a politician could have. Earlier he said Modi needed and today he did not need Rajdeep which was ok by him. It is important to realize that the world changes and that it was important to change with the world.
He went on to say that it is important to have a passion for one’s job otherwise it would be just another job. It is important for entrepreneurs to constantly energise oneself. He said the future in media in India, and what he was interested in, was the digital world and he would be interested in starting something in that space.
The inter-action was part of LINT or Learning, Inspiration, Networking & Training (LINT) for commercial customers of the Imperium projects in Goa. The initiative was borne out of its corporate philosophy ‘outdo’, to help its customers increase their business productivity by adding valuable insights under a set of calendar events under LINT. This was the first in a series of exclusive business programs under LINT, which will feature 14 events over a period of 12 months.
The objective of LINT is to help customers or their tenants get better returns from their real estate. Gera Developments aims to build compelling, sustainable relationships with its customers through LINT to encourage them in outdoing in their commercial enterprise.
