If Kohli scores the required 59 runs, he will achieve the 15,000-run feat in his 303rd innings. This achievement will make him the fastest player to reach the milestone by a staggering margin, outstripping Tendulkar, who took 377 innings in 2007. This trajectory aligns with Kohli’s career pattern; he previously became the fastest to 13,000 ODI runs in 267 innings during 2023, comfortably breaking Tendulkar’s earlier benchmark of 321 innings.
