VASCO: The Verna Police arrested a labourer for grievously assaulting one person leading to the death of the victim, on Sunday.
Umesh Dumdum and Vijay Kerkatta had fought among themselves on Sunday in which Umesh was assaulted grievously by accused Vijay. The victim succumbed to his injuries at GMC after two days. The incident had occurred in Odleabhat, Verna.
Upon information of the death of the victim at GMC, the police registered a case under Section 302 of IPC and have arrested the accused Vijay Kerkatta.
